Lt. Jack Robinson at Camp Hood

Lt. Jack Robinson at Camp Hood Visual Arts American History African American History Famous People Social Studies

2nd Lt. Jack Robinson was stationed at Camp Hood (known today as Fort Hood), in Texas, during the summer of 1944.  With the 761st Tank Battalion, at the time, he was investigated for refusing to give-up his seat when ordered to do so by a white bus driver.

This is how Lt. Robinson appeared at about that time.
