Maury's School - Historic Marker American History American Presidents Social Studies Biographies

Thomas Jefferson attended a log-cabin Classical School for Boys, run by a Dublin-born clergyman named James Maury. Tom lived at the school (located in Albemarle County ) for two years, coming home on weekends and holidays.
