Mayan Chocolate Drinking Vessel

The Mayans enjoyed chocolate drinks from vessels like this one which was found in Guatemala at the Altar de Sacrificios.

According to the Science Museum of Minnesota:

Glyphs [a form of writing] on this vessel tell a story that dates to the year 754.
