This 1411 drawing of plague-infected people is from a German-language Bible known as the "Toggenburg Bible."

Toggenburg is a lovely area in Switzerland's St. Gallen Canton. It is one of the places in Switzerland where Catholicism and Protestantism have traditionally co-existed.
