Moore House, Yorktown

Moore House, Yorktown

During the Civil War, Federal Army photographers, like Matthew Brady, took pictures of colonial scenes.  This is the Moore House where British and American representatives negotiated the terms of Cornwallis’ surrender at Yorktown.  The home has since been restored.
