NASA Video - Galileo Spacecraft Orbits Jupiter

On the 18th of October, 1989, NASA launched a spacecraft - called "Galileo" - to orbit the planet Jupiter. 

Traveling a total distance of 4,631,778,000 kms - including its journey from Earth - Galileo orbited Jupiter 34 times before it was destroyed on the 21st of September, 2003.
