Operation Valkyrie - by Pierre Galante

"Operation Valkyrie" was the code name for the Wolf’s-Lair plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.  Although the bomb exploded, on 20 July 1944, it did not kill the Nazi leader.

The publisher tells us about this work:

Galante's book is based in large part on achived materials and extensive interviews with Adolf Heusinger, one of the generals who played a key role in the plot.

Thanks to Cooper Square Press, and Google Books, sections of Operation Valkyrie: The German Generals' Plot Against Hitler, by Pierre Galante, are available for online exploring.
