Perfect Storm Event - by NOAA American History Disasters STEM Visual Arts

Three separate weather systems collided in late October, 1991.  The result was a monster storm which the National Weather Service dubbed "The Perfect Storm."

These types of events can occur during October when warm weather (from the south) meets cold weather (from the north).
