Pink Roses - June, 1890 Famous People Social Studies Visual Arts Nineteenth Century Life

As the fields and flowers came alive in Auvers, during the spring and summer of 1890, Vincent van Gogh found many things to paint.  He created this work - "Still Life:  Pink Roses" - in June of that year.

The oil-on-canvas is currently owned by Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen, Denmark.
