Plaque at National Cemetery Commemorating Palawan Massacre Victims

A plaque, commemorating the victims of the Palawan Massacre—which took place on December 14, 1944—is situated near the mass grave of 123 of the fallen soldiers, sailors and marines.

The men were interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, near St. Louis, on the 14th of February, 1952.
