Route of the British to Lexington and Concord

British troops left Boston and marched west to Concord. En route, they reached Lexington where they engaged some of the gathered Minutemen.

This battle map, from Minute Man National Historical Park, details the various routes of the Redcoats and the patriot messengers (Revere, Dawes and Prescott).
