Sacagawea - Sculpture of Shoshone Interpreter

Sacagawea Sculpture of Shoshone Interpreter

No drawings survive of Sacagawea (Sacajawea), although many paintings and sculptures depicting her have been created.  This work of art depicts the young Shoshone mother with her baby, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau (whose nickname was "Pomp").
