Stanegate Border Map

Stanegate Border Map Geography Ancient Places and/or Civilizations

This map depicts the location of an old stone road, called Stanegate Road, in today's northern England.  Built by the Romans, when Britain was a Roman province, Stanegate connected two forts. 

Approximately 38 miles (61 km) long, Stanegate's ruins still exist.
