T. rex Sue - Vicious Teeth

T. rex Sue - Vicious Teeth American History Archeological Wonders Geography Social Studies STEM Visual Arts Famous Historical Events

After Sue Hendrickson discovered a nearly complete T. rex in a rocky outcrop near Faith (South Dakota), she and her colleagues had to extract the fossilized remains from the earth which had held the creature for about 67 million years.

After they removed all the bones, the fossil had to be prepared for display.  That requires years of careful, meticulous work.
