  • Built to please the queen.
  • Archeologists think that the gardens were laid on a building.
  • The building was said to rise from 75 feet to 300 feet.

6. The Statue Zeus At Olympia

  • Made by greek sculptor Phidias.
  • It was to honor the god Zeus.
  • It was built in the 5th century b,c.
  • Built in Olympia, Greece.
  • The statue was about 13 m (43 ft) tall.
  • It was built to honor the god Zeus.
  • It is lost, gone without a trace. 

7. The Mausoleum At Halicarnassus

  • Was built by Artemisia II of Caria.
  • In memory for her husband.
  • Built in the 353 century b.c.
  • Built in Halicarnassus.
  • 148 feet tall.
  • It was destroyed by an earthquake.
