High-ranking members of the U.S. military gave Navajo Code Talkers significant credit for their role in "The Pacific" during World War II.

Because of national security issues, their work was not known publicly, at all, until many years after the war.  Even today, they remain "Unsung Heroes."

Thanks to the University of Nebraska Press and Google Books, significant parts of this work are available for online reading.
