Vincent۪s House in Arles (The Yellow House) Famous People Social Studies Visual Arts Nineteenth Century Life

Painted in September 1888, Vincent’s House in Arles (The Yellow House) depicts the home where van Gogh rented a room while living in Arles, France.  The place was destroyed in WWII. 

The painting is owned by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
