Virginia's Natural Bridge Visual Arts Geography

This image depicts a painting, by Frederick Edwin Church, entitled The Natural Bridge, Virginia.

The natural bridge, in Virginia, was the western-most point of travel which Thomas Jefferson, America's third President, ever reached.

Created in 1852, the original work is maintained by the Bayly Art Museum, University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
