War Horse - A Real Vet Tells His Story

Bill Cotgrove was a World War I veteran who was very close to his horse during the war.  He did what he could to make sure people remembered the soldiers and horses of that conflict.

Traveling to a Belgian war cemetery, when he was 102 years old, Cotgrove had his young grandson with him.  During that visit, he told his grandchild:

Never forget them, Son.

Before he died, at the age of 105, Cotgrove talked - on camera - about what it was like to do his job amidst the chaos.  This video clip contains part of that interview.
