Charlestown, Massachusetts - Map

Charlestown, at the Charles River near Boston, was the location of an arsenal (in 1774) where the colonials stored illegal weapons.

It was later the scene of the famous battle of Bunker Hill (which was actually fought on Breed"s Hill).
