Alexander Graham Bell - 1885 Family Portrait

Alexander Graham Bell had a deep commitment to helping deaf people.  His mother was deaf, as was his wife.  His father had developed a system to assist non-hearing people to vocalize language.  

In this family photo, circa 1885, we see Bell with his wife (Mabel) and two daughters - Elsie (on the left) and Marian (known as "Daisy") on the right.
