Angels & Demons - Ecstasy of St. Theresa

This statue by Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini is known as the Ecstasy of St. Theresa (and also as St. Teresa in Ecstasy or Transverberation of St. Teresa).  It is located in the Cornaro Chapel of Santa Maria della Vittoria in Rome and is widely considered a sculptural masterpiece of High-Roman Baroque.
