At Sea - Mayflower DrawingThis drawing describes, generally, the various sections of the Mayflower, home to the Pilgrims as they crossed the North Atlantic from Britain to America. The shallop, positioned along the side, was a smaller boat which was used for exploring shallow areas. The "Pilgrim Fathers" would have used the Mayflower's shallop as they searched for a suitable landing site. Click on the imager for a better view.
