Beach in Mumbai - Chaupati

This beach, commonly referred to as Chaupati (pronounced as chow-patty), is located in the seaside city of Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay).  In addition to its fame as a public beach, it is the place where hundreds of people from Mumbai celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi (and immerse statues of Lord Ganapati into the Arabian Sea).
