Boulevard de Clichy - 1887

During February and March of 1887, van Gogh painted Boulevard de Clichy.  He is now using lines (which he later employed to great effect) and is still experimenting with a lighter palette.

This painting is currently part of the collection at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
