Churchill - The Gathering Storm, Part 9

As war with Germany seems inevitable, Ralph Wigram dies (in December of 1936).  He had supplied Churchill with documents from the Foreign Office which reported Hitler's actions in rearming Germany.  Winston, who considers Wigram a hero, is greatly saddened by his friend's death.

After Stanley Baldwin resigns, Neville Chamberlain takes over as Britian's Prime Minister.  Trying to appease Hitler, Chamberlain makes a trip to Germany to meet with the Nazi leader.

Churchill could not have disapproved more.
