Clyde - A Major River in Scotland

The Clyde is one of Scotland's major rivers.  It flows through Glasgow, is associated with William Wallace and empties into the Atlantic Ocean.  It is about 106 miles (170 km) long and, during the early nineteenth century, its falls provided waterpower for local cotton mills.
