Colosseum - An Ancient Landmark in Modern Rome

This is an interior view of the famous Colosseum.  Building the amphitheatre, a landmark in Rome since ancient times, was commenced by the Emperor Vespasian, in the first century A.D., and was completed by his son, the Emperor Titus.
