Cornelia Vos-Stricker - Vincent's Love

This photograph is of Vincent's cousin, Cornelia (with her child).  

Van Gogh fell in love with her and proposed marriage. She firmly rejected Vincent’s advances, giving him an answer he did not want to hear:  “Never, no, never.”
