Dillinger - Facial Injury at DeathIt is believed that Special Agent Charles Winstead fired the shot which killed John Dillinger. The bullet entered his body at the back of the neck and exited just under his right eye. This death photograph depicts the resulting facial injury. Dillinger celebrated a birthday, not long before his death. He was 31 years old.
