El Greco - The Disrobing of Christ

In this painting, which is owned by the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, we see a soldier wearing armor more like that used at the time of the artist (El Greco), rather than at the time of a first-century Roman soldier. 

The scene interprets the disrobing of Jesus, just before the soldiers "cast lots" for his apparel.
