Forest of FoclutAlthough "the forest of Foclut" is the only specifically named place in St. Patrick's Confession, scholars are not exactly sure where that was. Some historians think it refers to "Foghill," in County Mayo. The map above depicts the location of County Mayo (in turquoise). It is one of Ireland's western counties and borders the Atlantic Ocean. The beige-colored counties constitute today's Northern Ireland.
