Helen Keller - With Mark TwainAs Helen's fame grew, she traveled extensively and met many famous people. One of her friends was the writer Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). In her autobiography, The Story of My Life, Keller notes this about Twain: This picture, circa 1902, depicts Keller with Mark Twain and Anne Sullivan.
