This image, from Poma de Ayala's chapter on the Spanish conquest and the civil wars, reveals the dress style of the early Conquistadors and their wives:  "The style of dress worn by the first Spaniards in Peru."

It is drawing 158 (on page 394) of his book, The First New Chronicle and Good Government On the History of the World and the Incas up to 1615.
