JFK - Letter to Widow of Major Anderson

President Kennedy sent the original of this letter to the widow of Major Rudolph Anderson, Jr., on the 28th of October, 1962.  Anderson had been shot down as he flew a mission, over Cuba, to assess Soviet progress installing missiles on the island.

JFK also penned the handwritten note on the letter.
