John Langdon - Inspiration for Fictional Robert LangdonJohn Langdon, professor of typography at Drexel University in Philadelphia, is Dan Brown's inspiration (at least, in part) for fictional Harvard professor, Robert Langdon. It was John Langdon who created all the ambigrams featured in Angels & Demons - including those images branded onto the chests of the Preferati (the four fictional Cardinals in the running to become the next pope).
