Last Day of World War I - The ArmisticeIn this clip from "The Last Day of World War One," we see a replica of the railway carriage in which the Armistice was signed on the 11th of November, 1918. We also see the place where it happened. Although the ceasefire was signed in the early morning hours (just past 5:00 a.m., Paris time), a huge number of soldiers died before (and after) the Armistice took effect at 11 a.m. See, also: Last Day of World War I - The Armistice, Part 2
