Les Miserables, Episode 5 - The Grave

Jean Valjean eludes Javert and his team of policemen. How is it that he can avoid capture? And why is it that Javert continues to chase a prisoner whose crime was merely stealing a loaf of bread?

Valjean has climbed a wall that, to others, seemed an impossible task. As he eludes the police, he determines the young child, Cosette, would never lack for anything.

Then ... he comes up with an unlikely plan.
