Lincoln Conspirators - Hanging Platform

The execution of the alleged Lincoln co-conspirators took place, in Washington, on the 7th of July, 1865 - nearly three months after John Wilkes Booth assassinated the President.  This scene depicts the platform on which the convicted defendants would be executed.
