Lincoln Conspirators - Sentenced to Hang

Very little time transpired between the co-conspirator trial and the execution, by hanging, of the defendants.  Historians still question whether the case against Mary Surrat was justly prosecuted.  She, like the others, hanged for the alleged crimes.
