Apollo 13 - Earth from SpaceApollo 13 astronauts saw this view of Earth during their aborted lunar-landing mission. Two astronauts - Jim Lovell and Fred Haise - were scheduled to walk on the Moon while Jack Swigert remained with the Command Module. Because of equipment malfunction, the entire crew was in jeopardy and returned to Earth without making their scheduled landing.
