Mars Rover - Metamorphosis

After a Mars Exploratory Rover (called MER) arrives on the Martian surface, it goes through a kind of metamorphosis over a period of at least nine days. See it change from travel to work mode in this clip from NASA's video series, Challenges of Getting to Mars.
