Mexico City - Map LocatorThis map depicts the location of Mexico City where hundreds of people contracted Swine Influenza A (H1N1) during March and April of 2009. Many of those people died, causing world-wide fears of a potential flu pandemic. (The "Spanish Flu" disaster, during World War One, was also caused by a strain of swine flu. Historians are still uncertain how many deaths resulted from that, with estimates ranging as high as 50+ million.)
