Michelangelo - Designer of St. Peter's Dome

This clip, the beginning scenes of The Agony and the Ecstasy, starts with a view of the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome (which was designed by Michelangelo).  It then moves further into the background of this remarkably versatile artist (1475-1564) who lived, and worked, during the Italian Renaissance (1330-1550).
