Mumtaz Mahal - Alleged Portrait

This portrait is often used as a reference for Mumtaz Mahal, although scholars do not believe it is she.  It is likely that no pictures of her survive - if any were ever created.  Because her beauty was celebrated by court poets, we have written evidence of her appearance - but no likeness.
