Mycenae - Home of Agamemnon

After he located Troy, Heinrich Schliemann set out to find Mycenae.  According to the Iliad, that ancient place had once been ruled by Agamemnon. 

Once again, Schliemann was able to find the ruins of a legendary city.  This photo depicts some of the Mycenaean ruins.
