Nagasaki - Nuclear Attack

On the 9th of August, 1945, a B-29 called “Bock’s Car” dropped a plutonium-239 bomb dubbed “Fat Man” on the city of Nagasaki.  The weapon was originally intended for the city of Kokura, but poor visibility over the primary target caused a change in plans.

This video clip explains why the bomb was dropped and includes scenes from its aftermath.
