Oil and Japanese Expansion - Political Cartoon

Finding herself increasingly dependent on foreign oil, Japan needed to develop her own sources of fuel.  To do so, the country tried to expand its territorial control.  This political cartoon - Hirohito's Garden - depicts that endeavor.
