The Plague in Phrygien, known in Italian as Il Morbetto, illustrates the effects of Black Death on people who lived in cities.

This engraving is by Marcantonio Raimondi (c. 1480 - c. 1534), an Italian engraver who pioneered the use of prints to reproduce the work of famous artists.
