Petroglyphs - Limestone Cliff at Nemaha River
Lewis and Clarke mentioned these Native-American petroglyphs in their journal. They are located on a limestone cliff, at the mouth of the Nemaha River, in Kansas. This picture, maintained at the U.S. National Archives, was taken in 1974.
